rule of thirds, edited.

This is a photo that i have taken but originally the main focus was set in the middle. So ive gone in to photo shop and edited it slightly and then cropped some of it out to bring in the rule of thirds by moving the main focus over to the left.

Rule of thirds

This is a decent example of the rule of thirds as the main focus is not directly in the middle of the page. It is slightly to the right and i've been told that the better photos always have this rule of thirds used when editing. This is because it is natural to look slightly left or right when looking at the photo.

This also is a decent photo as there is lots of different patterns made from the stairs, and also from the people as it is it order of highest to lowest. There is also a lot of straight lines that have been used and the focus is very clear and good on to the faces.

My photos

This photo is not to bad as the focus of it is good because it is very clear what that focus is and that's the person in the middle. It is also framed well because of the ceiling and walls around it. Also the colour's that are used are contrasted because of the light yellow in the background and then black as the main focus.

what makes a good and bad photo

This a better photo as their is more of a focus and their is eye contact being made with the camera which shows better facial expressions. It could be made better by having the light removed because it makes it to bright also the person on the outside is slightly cut out. but overall a decent photo as it shows a lot.

what makes a good and bad photo

This is a bad photo because their is no eye contact with the camera. also there is to much space showing to much going on in the background, which means there is not a main focus. And the person on the right is cut out of the photo which is really bad for a picture.
